Armenia’s national airline is Armavia Airlines, which offers flights to a number of destinations – though the closest they come to Britain is Paris. British Airways offer regular flights to Yerevan, with costs of around £179 one way. KLM, Austrian Airlines, Aeroflot and Czech Airlines also offer flights into the country. Flights from London to Yerevan are around five hours, and Yerevan’s airport offers taxis and regular buses into the city, along with the usual amenities that would be expected. There is also an international airport – Shirak – near Gyunri.
